We’re very proud to share that Johnstown Castle Estate, Museum and Gardens in Wexford and Strokestown Park and the National Famine Museum in Roscommon have both received a 2025 CIE Tours Award of Excellence.
These awards are presented to organisations that deliver an exceptional visitor experience, welcoming guests on CIE tours and achieving a customer satisfaction rating of 92% or higher — a real testament to the care, professionalism and warmth shown by our teams every day as they go above and beyond for all our visitors.
The awards were accepted on behalf of the teams by Eoin Ennis and Caoimhe Connick from Johnstown Castle, and Eilish Canty and Aidan McBride from Strokestown Park — proudly representing colleagues across both sites.
For the Irish Heritage Trust, recognition like this reflects our belief in the power of heritage to create meaningful, memorable experiences — rooted in people, place and community.
A huge congratulations to everyone involved 👏
